Care Assistant – Caerphilly
£14.40 – £15.00 per hour
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team in Caerphilly. This is an excellent opportunity for caring professionals who are looking for flexible work across a variety of settings, including care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with moving and handling duties in accordance with care plans and health and safety guidelines
- Safely administer medication following established policies and procedures
- Support service users with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Observe, monitor, and accurately record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns as appropriate
- Promote dignity, independence, choice, and respect in all aspects of care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow individual care plans
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- At least 6 months of UK-based care experience
- Previous moving and handling experience
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to providing outstanding care and support
