Care Assistant – Cardiff
£14.40 – £15.00 per hour
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity for dedicated care professionals seeking flexible work across a variety of settings, including care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care and support to service users
- Assist with moving and handling tasks in accordance with care plans and health and safety guidelines
- Administer medication safely and in line with company policies and procedures
- Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly and appropriately
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow individual care plans
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care experience
- Previous moving and handling experience
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
