Care Assistant – Monmouthshire
£14.40 – £15.00 per hour
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our growing agency team across Monmouthshire. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated care professionals looking for flexible work within a variety of settings, including care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users
- Assist with moving and handling duties in accordance with care plans and health and safety guidelines
- Administer medication safely and in line with company policies and procedures
- Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor, record, and report any changes in residents’ wellbeing or health
- Promote independence, dignity, privacy, and respect at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow individual care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care experience
- Previous experience with moving and handling
- A caring, dependable, and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care and support
