Domiciliary Care Worker – Walkers & Passengers – Abergavenny

Are you an experienced care worker looking for flexible agency work in your local area?
Completely Care is recruiting Agency Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to adults in their own homes across Abergavenny and the surrounding areas.
We have opportunities for walkers and passengers, making this an excellent role for experienced care workers who do not drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support in clients’ own homes.
- Assist with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, and light household tasks.
- Support clients with mobility, moving and handling, including the safe use of hoists and other specialist equipment where required.
- Administer medication where trained and authorised.
- Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate care records.
- Travel between client visits on foot or as a passenger, depending on your allocated route.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ UK care or support experience.
- Experience with moving and handling and the use of hoists.
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach.
- Flexibility to work a variety of agency shifts.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Social Care Wales (SCW) registration, where required.
