Completely Care is recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a temporary role in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional who enjoys flexible working, variety, and the chance to support children’s development in a high-quality nursery environment. The role is offered on a temporary basis, making it ideal for practitioners looking for additional hours, flexible shifts, or varied Early Years experience across different settings.
About the Role
As a Temporary Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of a supportive Early Years team, helping to deliver safe, engaging and development-focused care for children aged 0–5.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children’s learning through play-based activities
Helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
Encouraging social, emotional and physical development
Assisting with daily routines including meals, play and rest periods
Working alongside nursery staff to maintain consistent high standards of care
Following EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures at all times
Adapting quickly to different nursery routines and team environments
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role, you will need:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred)
A caring, patient and professional approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A flexible attitude towards temporary assignments
A genuine interest in Early Years education and child development
