Nursery Assistant – Bridgend
£14.40–£15.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a variety of friendly and well-established nurseries across Bridgend.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning, development, and daily routines in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Assist nursery staff in providing high-quality care and engaging play-based learning opportunities.
- Supervise children during activities, mealtimes, outdoor play, and personal care routines where required.
- Help prepare, organise, and tidy learning resources, activities, and play areas throughout the day.
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence, creativity, and social development through positive interactions.
- Promote a fun, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere where every child can thrive.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies to ensure the highest standards of care at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A caring, positive, and dependable attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively alongside nursery practitioners.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience in a nursery, childcare, or early years setting is desirable but not essential.
