Nursery Assistant – Cwmbran
£14.40–£14.75 per hour
Role Overview
We’re looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a welcoming and well-established nursery in the Cwmbran area.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children with play, learning, and daily activities, helping to create a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-organised setting where children can learn, explore, and thrive.
- Work alongside nursery staff to supervise children and support mealtimes, snack times, and personal care routines.
- Prepare, organise, and tidy away activities, toys, and learning resources throughout the day.
- Build positive relationships with children, encouraging their confidence, independence, and development through play and interaction.
Skills & Experience
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
- A positive, caring attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from experienced nursery staff.
- Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not essential, making this an ideal role for those looking to gain experience in early years.
