Community Support Worker (Driver) – Cardiff
£14.40–£15.00 per hour
We’re recruiting compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently, access their local community, and enjoy meaningful activities.
If you’re passionate about making a positive difference and have previous care experience, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties Include:
- Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments, education, or social events
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and the development of everyday life skills
- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks where required
- Providing emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships
- Promoting choice, dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care
- Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and interests
- Following individual care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate daily records and reporting any concerns appropriately
- Working in line with safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a UK care/support setting
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Business insurance required
- Confident supporting individuals within the community
- Reliable, friendly, and proactive approach
