Support Worker – Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Monmouth
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Are you an experienced and compassionate Support Worker looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Monmouth for dedicated Support Workers to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to live as independently as possible while working towards a permanent position with a supportive employer.
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support individuals to access the community and participate in meaningful activities.
- Promote independence, dignity and choice.
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with the wider team.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 6 months’ recent UK-based Support Worker experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy.
- Practical experience with moving and handling.
- Experience supporting individuals who display challenging behaviours.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Flexibility to work a range of shift patterns between 07:00 and 20:00, including sleep-in shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach.
- A reliable, proactive and professional attitude.
