Care Assistant – Rhondda Cynon Taf
£14.40 – £15.00 per hour
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team across Rhondda Cynon Taf. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated care professionals seeking flexible agency work in a range of settings, including care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users
- Assist with moving and handling activities in line with individual care plans and health and safety procedures
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with company policies and guidelines
- Support residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Observe, monitor, and accurately record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while adhering to care plans
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care experience
- Previous moving and handling experience
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting and caring for others
