Salary: £9.00 - £10.00 per hour

Senior Care Assistant


£9.00 - £10.00 ph depending on experience.

We are recruiting for Care Assistants in a modern, high quality Care Home situated in Carterton, Oxfordshire. This job is perfect for someone who enjoys spending time with elderly people and genuinely wants to make a difference to their lives.


You'll be working in a modern, high quality dementia and nursing Care Home.

As a Care Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the elderly to live their lives as best possible, assisting with their physical and personal needs to enhance each individual's well-being.

The Care Assistants duties can include but are not limited to:

  • Promoting Independence
  • Helping at bed time / morning time
  • Personal care needs
  • Social care needs (if appropriate)
  • Meal support
  • Reviewing care plans

This is a highly rewarding role which is ideal for someone who enjoys helping other people.

It would be preferable if candidates applying for the Care Assistant role are trained and experienced in care work, ideally with an QCF in Health and Social Care at Level 2 or Level 3. For the right person, full training can be given.

We are looking for a flexible person who is hard working and willing to go the extra mile!

There is a lot of opportunity for progression into a more skilled and higher role.

You will work to a rolling 7 day rota as required which includes alternate weekends.

We are recruiting for day and night staff to work 12 hour shifts with a one hours break in between.
