To do so this organisation offer numerous training courses, QCF training and then leading on to a therapeutic diploma to ensure all staff are equipped and confident in their roles.
This organisation have a number of childrens homes based in the Oxfordshire area and we are expanding our recruitment for this role to area's outside of Oxford because this role is a short term live in role based on living on site for 7 days and then having a 7 day beak. which works out to have 26 weeks a year off. This is to provide consistancy for the young people and to give staff regular breaks.
This Senior Residential Childrens Worker role will be based at one of the organisations homes in the Oxfordshire area, each of these homes supports a group of looked after young people. Staff will be required to bond with the young people, familiarise themselves with each young persons individual needs and the best way to support the emotional and behavioural needs of the young person. Engage with the residents on activities, ensure their safety and well being, write reports and implicate care plans.
A suitable candidate for this Senior Residential Childrens Worker role will have a passion for supporting looked after children, must be a driver, looking for full time position. This organisation are happy to take on and train candidates who don't have experience in a similar role providing they are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people. Experience in this role is preferred.
