Residential Manager – Children’s services

We are currently recruiting for a Residential Manager for a children’s home in Monmouthshire. This is a brand new 4 bed home providing support for vulnerable looked after young people. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion to continue to develop this into a great home.
The Residential Manager will organise a small team of 7 staff, managing the home, rotas, on call services, safety and care of the young people, ensuring the home and staff are compliant with rules and regulations.
This role is based on Monday to Friday 9.00-17.00 role but with the understanding they may be required to work over time or check into the service at weekends. This will also include the occasional on call duties.
Suitable candidates for this Residential Manager role would have previous experience in a similar role, previous experience within children’s service, hold either social work qualification or NVQ4 /5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification and to be registered with SCW.
