Fantastic opportunity to work for an amazing organisation providing support to vulnerable young people. Full time role, 5 days a week, 37 hours per week.

We are currently recruiting for a Children and young peoples Practitioner to work for a well established organisation in Northampton. This role will be based on working 37 hours per week 5 days a week. You may be required to work some unsociable hours.

The main duties for this Children and young peoples Practitioner role will be to assist with the day to day running of the service that support children and young people recovering from domestic abuse. You'll be required to provide a holistic approach to provide support and build strong relationships with the clients, to work with families to help provide activities and intervention, to carry out risk assessments, you will be managing your own case load of young people and to provide group therapeutic sessions.

A suitable candidate for this Childrens and Young Peoples Practitioner role will be available to work on a full time basis, to be able to pick up some shifts out of office hours, must be a driver with a car, Must have a level 3 or equivalent youth work qualification, Must have a good knowledge of childrens safeguarding as you will be required to act as a childrens protection lead, they would have experience working with children and families in crisis, must have good administration skills.
