Support workers wanted for flexible support work for a leading supported living provider in Oxford that specialises in mental health support.
A key aspect of the role is to promote the independence of the clients, helping them to engage in activities and to build their confidence and help them develop their life skills. Other areas of support include managing budgets, meal preparation, encouraging personal care, assisting or prompting medication, assisting with appointments and outings when required.
The ideal candidate will have experience and training within social care. We are also looking for mental health support workers that really enjoy cooking meals as well as some our roles are 9-17 Monday - Sunday that involve cooking for residents.
We can potentially put you forward to roles within childcare such as nurseries or SEN settings, care home positions and even working in mental health settings if you have the right attitude and ambition and want to work towards something new so give us a call on 01865 727751 and we can discuss these with you.
