Residential Childcare Worker - Chipping Norton

Salary: £27,500.00 - £28,500.00 per annum

A fantastic opportunity to start your career in Residential Childcare, a site near Banbury need responsible, caring staff to look after young people with complex needs. You will be working in an Ofsted registered ‘Outstanding’ 8 bed residential children’s home offering care and support to children and young people aged 8-18 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Located in a rural setting, situated close to Chipping Norton and Banbury.

You will be working as part of a team committed to helping children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

You will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual, bespoke, support required by the children and young people in our care. You will chaperone the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.

The applicant should have training and experience in care, ideally working with looked after children.
