Support workers are required to work in a residential setting in Newport that specialises in people with learning difficulties.
The role involves working with clients with a variety of needs, including personal care and toileting. The position involves providing support throughout the day with a variety of activities. Clients have a wide range of abilities, and some are more able than others.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting people with learning difficulties, as well as social care training such as manual handling, first aid, food hygiene, drug administration and health and safety.
This position requires a DBS check to be carried out - unless you have registered with the DBS update service.
