Support Worker – Abingdon (Temporary Role)
Pay: Up to £17 per hour Location: Abingdon Contract: Flexible temporary work
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Support Workers to join our team in Abingdon, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in their own homes.
What you’ll do:
Assist with daily household routines and tasks
Encourage and develop independent living skills
Support with outings, activities, and community engagement
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Provide care in situations that may involve challenging behaviour
Requirements:
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Safeguarding Adults
Previous experience in social care
Training in moving and handling desirable
Challenging behaviour training desirable
Valid First Aid training desirable
