Care Assistant – Vale of Glamorgan
£14.40 – £15.00 per hour
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Care Assistants to join our expanding agency team across the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate individuals looking for flexible work within a variety of care settings, including residential care homes, nursing homes, and supported living services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users
- Assist with moving and handling in accordance with individual care plans and health and safety regulations
- Administer medication safely and in line with company policies and procedures
- Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and document residents’ wellbeing, reporting any concerns or changes promptly
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect in all aspects of care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and follow established care plans
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ UK-based experience in a care setting
- Previous experience with moving and handling
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care and support
