Nursery Room Leader
Location: Crews Hill, Enfield, EN2
Salary: £34,070.40 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Completely Care is recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader on behalf of our client, a well-established day nursery in Crews Hill, Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to join a warm, supportive nursery team and take the lead within the baby room.

This role would suit someone with a genuine passion for early years care and education, who enjoys creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. You will be responsible for leading the room, supporting staff, building positive relationships with parents and carers, and ensuring high standards of care and learning are maintained at all times.

The Role
As Nursery Room Leader, you will:

Lead the daily running of the baby room, creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children
Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
Act as a role model for other staff and help support and mentor team members
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
Maintain accurate records, observations, and planning within the room
Help create a positive, welcoming environment where children feel secure and supported
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Strong communication skills and confident spoken and written English
A caring, reliable, and organised approach with the ability to lead by example
