Role Overview
Completely Care is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners in Bristol to join our growing agency team. You’ll support a range of well-established nursery settings across Bristol, providing high-quality care and early years education for children aged 0–5 years.
This flexible nursery practitioner agency role in Bristol is ideal for passionate early years professionals who enjoy working in different childcare environments and want greater flexibility around their work. Whether you’re looking to broaden your nursery experience or achieve a better work-life balance, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You’ll work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework while supporting each child’s individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Providing high-quality care and support tailored to each child’s individual needs.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Building positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Supporting children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing through play and structured activities.
- Working collaboratively with nursery teams to maintain high standards of childcare.
- Following safeguarding, child protection, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
- Adapting confidently to different nursery settings, routines and teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field (essential).
- Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK experience within a nursery or early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to integrate quickly into new nursery environments and work independently when required.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
