Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Plymouth, providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
As a caring, enthusiastic and energetic individual, you will play a vital role in supporting children to learn, grow and thrive, making a meaningful difference in their early years development.
Key Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, working closely with the nursery team to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
Supporting children’s learning and development
Observing and recording children’s progress
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, healthy and welcoming environment
Following safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures
Using your early years knowledge and experience to support each child’s individual needs
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role in Plymouth, you will need:
Previous nursery or early years experience
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
A genuine passion for working with children
A caring, patient and positive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to create a fun, engaging and supportive environment
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
