Nursery Practitioner, Shoreham-by-Sea, Up to £17.50 per Hour

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join friendly and supportive nursery teams across Shoreham-by-Sea and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional to provide high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing, stimulating and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children while working closely with the nursery team to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
Supporting children’s learning and development
Observing and recording children’s progress
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, healthy and welcoming environment
Following safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures
Supporting children’s individual learning and development needs
Encouraging children to develop their confidence, independence and social skills
Working as part of a supportive and professional nursery team
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role in Shoreham-by-Sea, you will need:

Previous nursery or Early Years experience
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
A genuine passion for working with children
A caring, patient and positive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to create a fun, engaging and supportive environment
A good understanding of children’s learning and development
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
