Domiciliary Care Worker
Torfaen
£14.50–£15 per hour (includes paid travel between client visits)
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Temporary Domiciliary Care Workers in Torfaen. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support and companionship to adults in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
Role Responsibilities:
- Travel safely between clients’ homes, with paid time included
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living tasks
- Assist with moving and handling, using equipment such as hoists safely
- Administer medication (if trained)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Promote independence and dignity for clients
Requirements:
- 6 months previous UK care/support experience
- Experience with moving and handling, using equipment such as hoists
- Caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Driving license and vehicle preferred
- SCW Registration
